TOM CLANCY'S GHOST RECON- WILDLANDS 8/10 TRUSTED REVIEWS “If you’re looking for a really big, extravagant sandbox game that’s great fun solo and hilarious in co-op, don’t be shy. Wildlands isn’t Ghost Recon as we know it, but it’s the wildest party in town.”
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD 10/10 TRUSTED REVIEWS “If there’s a better game out there than Breath of the Wild, I haven’t played it. Nintendo has created, for me, the greatest game of all time. It’s everything I want from a game and one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had.
With the incredible variety of gameplay on offer, it’s understandable why Nintendo cleared the Switch launch schedule for Zelda. There’s a good chance you’ll be absorbed in everything it has to offer all the way up until the release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.”
HALO WARS 2 7/10 TRUSTED REVIEWS Halo Wars 2 suffers a little from its console limitations, but it’s a solid RTS with a strong campaign and a good overall feel for the Halo universe. After a slow start the mission design grows much more interesting and while there’s little here you won’t have seen in a StarCraft, it’s all handled with variety, pace and drama. There’s potential too in the multiplayer modes, particularly Blitz with its unique hybrid style. It might not be the Halo sequel that you asked for, but it’s a fine one to be getting on with.”
FINAL FANTASY XII 8/10 TRUSTED REVIEWS This is true of so many of FFXII’s gameplay and interface enhancements. Square-Enix has successfully bridged the old gap between gameplay and combat, giving you direct, hands-on control of your party leader, and leaving the rest of the work to a set of surprisingly clever and – more importantly – programmable AIs. Battle is no-longer turn based. In a system reminiscent of Bioware’s work on Knights of the Old Republic, you move your party leader in real time and pause the action to assign him targets.”
RESIDENT EVIL: REVELATIONS 9/10 TRUSTED REVIEWS “Not everyone will like the way the game flits between three viewpoints – Jill, Chris and a duo of comedy morons – but the game uses it to set up some excellent cliffhangers, and the 'Previously on Resident Evil: Revelations' recaps that precede each chapter help give the game a cool TV series feel.”
